We have three to attend this summer.
Our first was Ti’s former roommates, Derek and Jen, just last weekend. A fairly traditional affair, with lots of speeches and an outstanding view from Lynx Ridge. Elliotte handled everything well except the speeches, whenupon we had to make a bit of a hasty retreat.
The second wedding, Adrienne and Ty, will take place in Nova Scotia, and it’s been the excuse we’re using to drag Ellie out east for her first big vacation (but not her first airplane flight). We’ll stick around thereabouts for three weeks total, and try to wander around PEI, Cape Breton and the rest of Nova Scotia, see how the little one tolerates being dragged around the countryside.
We’re only there for three weeks because at the end of the summer, on August 1, my buddy Shaun and his buddy, Corinna, are sealing their fates together back home in Calgary.
