No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle.
Winston Churchill
Elliotte’s been driving us nuts, sort of, asking to go horseback riding. Like most high end things in Greece (the basics are surprisingly affordable), this one dings the pocketbook. 150 Euros gives us all a three hour ride on the beach, in the ocean, and through the pastoral scenery of Naxos.
Ellie’s the only one who stayed on her horse the whole trek; Tina had to jump off when hers decided to take a dust bath on the beach, and I held onto neck and then jumped when I lost a stirrup. Whilst we were galloping. Fast.
Fun times!
