We are all moving on. Tomorrow, the Tompkins clan fly out to one end of Vietnam, while the day after, we ourselves return to Thailand, and to most of our luggage in Chiang Mai. Our time in Luang Prabang is quickly coming to an end. We will have been here for eight days, and it will not have been enough.
Here’s Liz and I on the slow boat.
That’s her, sticking outta my head. (Get outta my head, Liz!!!111!)
Our time with the Tompkins’ – Liz, Remy, Bowen, and Hollis (and part time adopted son, Conner) – is now interrupted. We’ll be in Vietnam beginning on the 26th or so (our visa is approved, so, yeah!), and so our paths may yet cross again in Indochina. We are quite certain that they will cross when we return home, our living in the same hood and all.
Here they are in sorta cramped quarters, on the slow boat to Luang Prabang. Fun times!
And here we all are at the Lao border at Huay Xai. It’s been a slice sharing this all with you, Remy and Liz et al. Let’s do it again sometime.
