One of the few outstanding portraits I was able to take during the first leg of our Le Grand Voyagae II. Outstanding not for the photography, but for the subject matter.
From the interior of Bali, Indonesia, at a coffee plantation. She did not speak English, but understood enough for “photo”? Afterwards, she waved me over to her and held my hand for a few moments. I cannot imagine what she was thinking, but I’m thankful for it.
