An awesome idea. Photograph a child from every country on the planet. Danny Goldfield, a photographer in New York City, is doing that. Thee kicker is this; all the children he photographs currently live in NYC.

This one was taken on the Mekong River as I sailed from Chiang Khong towards Luang Prabang, in Laos. Our slow-fast boat (complicated, don’t ask) would often slow down as it passed houseboats along the way. As we lazily floated by one, this little boy stuck his head out.
Probably looking at all the poppy fields and the drug warlords in the hills. Long story.
