Without overstating things (which I am, from time to time, prone to do) I am, in my professional life, at one of those Robert Frost, diverging roads moments. All reinforced by this:
(And by the fact that I return to teaching on the 31st.)
See, once upon a time, I was the tech coordinator for my school. I had ball, working with the kids, and working with (some) teachers – those who were not hesitant to pick up the technology ball and run with it as they saw fit.
Then shit happened, and I reverted to being a normal classroom teacher of science, using the same tech in whatever ways suited me. I had a ball. I loved science, and the teaching came easy for me.
But I wonder… is there a greater purpose? I now have the opportunity to write my own ticket, as regards my next posting.
More, later. Right now, I should be preoccupied with packing. We leave on Monday.
