Where's Teddy Now?

Preparation

The one unique thing that I bought today (and, incidentally, something that we won’t actually be bringing with us) was a scale. Interesting story, that.

Apparently, on a package tour, your luggage mass is limited. We are limited to 20kg per person. Elliotte, because she sits on our lap, doesn’t count. However, she is allowed a travel crib (or playpen) and any other baby paraphanalia for free.

Yes, free.

We will be exploiting that to maximum effect, trying to pass off the baby backpack and booster chair (and maybe even the diapers, if we can manage it) as freebees. Stroller and car seat get checked at the gate, once again, free.

So tonight, we pack.

Some random packings: a corkscrew, the 20D with the 70-200, 10-22, and 24-105. I think, owin g the the presence of birds, bring the 2x extender as well. But I can’t find the c harger and batteries for my SD630, so the little boy stays home.

On the gripping hand, Ti brings her XTi on its virgin voyage. We’re well equipped as photgraphy goes. Here’s the new man-purse for me and my ’20:

And so now, back top packing.
